This is a time of change for Hogwarts school. As the future becomes the present, we are embracing the new technology that is spilling into our halls and towers. One example is our Magical Child Registry (see: admissions), which is being transferred to a state-of-the-art Interparchment system. Another example is the new Distance Learning Lab, designed to allow Hogwarts students access to the latest, the greatest, and the most distant professors.

Technology is not the only cause for excitement. The Quidditch Cup returns this fall as an incentive for staying alive and enrolled all year. We will also be welcoming a new Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher, when we find one. (Applications are now being accepted. See: employment opportunities.)
